There are "temporary no parking" signs placed by the City of Fullerton Street Dept for Tuesday, July 16.
It seems this might be an attempt to run the street sweepers through there, that street rarely gets street sweeping because of cars parked there all the time. The city is trying to get some maintenance done!.
Be sure to remove your garbage cans promptly by midnight on Monday nights so they are also not in the way.
Garbage cans must be placed out of sight in your garage or behind your fence unless it is Sunday or Monday which is our collection day.
They have to be back out of sight by Monday night. I notice a number of them were still there Tuesday night this last week.
This is a Fullerton city law, nothing to do with College Greens, the City Code Enforcement can fine you if your cans are visible.
Here is the reference from the City website.

By the way, in Fullerton we get unlimited free bulky pickup, so items like beds, furniture, etc. will be picked up by MG Disposal free! When should I set out my trashcans? Are there any restrictions?
Trash containers may not be set out earlier than 1 a.m. the day before collection, and must be removed by midnight the day of collection. You can determine your collection day by calling MG Disposal Systems, the City’s trash contractor, at 871-1434.
Full trash containers cannot weigh more than 75 pounds. Brush, tree trimmings, logs and wood can be placed in securely tied bundles not exceeding 4 feet in length, and 16 inches in width.
Large items such as stoves, water heaters and furniture cannot be set out with your regular trash collection. Special arrangements for the pickup of these items can be made by calling MG Disposal Systems.
You can leave it in front of your garage if it's too big to move yourself and in a condo situation like we are they have to go on the property and pick up.
Lucky for that, at first they told me I had to take a king size bed down to the curb (150') and put it on the grass. Ridiculous, if I had the ability to move it that far I could have taken it to the dump. King size beds should not be put on the grass anyway.
My company owns 3373 topaz lane and was wondering who the contact is. We were going to install air and heat and wanted to know who we needed to talk to? Please call 425-785-6127 Rob
ReplyDeleteThe College Greens “Residential Trash Collection Fact Sheet” that I just received says Black Cans should be placed on the East Side of the Court Driveway, and Green Cans on the West Side. This is backwards from what the policy has been in the past. Do you know if it it changed at some point in time, or is the information in the Fact Sheet incorrect?
